It’s Time to Share the BIG News!

News Flash

From Front of the Class to Front of the Nursery!

For all of you who have followed me over the years, I have very exciting news to report. My wife, Nancy, is pregnant! We are expecting “Baby Cohen” to arrive around March 26th. Words can not express how excited we are to start our family with children.

For so many years, I have been an educator and worked with children. It has been so rewarding. But it was also nice to return those children to their parents each night. But now I’ll have my own that I won’t need to return to someone each night. As many people keep reminding us, life is about to change. And that doesn’t scare me one bit.

I’m ready for the challenge just like I have been ready for every other challenge in my life. Nancy and I both have great role models in our parents, my brother and the many friends and family who have kids. We are ready to embrace the idea of having a child with open arms and take it one day at a time. I know Nancy will be a great mother!

Nancy and I thank you for all the support as we enter the next chapter of our lives.

Cheers
Brad

Congratulations. That is wonderful news. My daughter has tourette’s and you truly are an inspiration. I can’t imagine living with tourette’s and I know how very challenging it is, she tries so hard everyday and everyday is a struggle. You are big reason I push her so very hard I know she too one day will be a huge success just as you have. Again congratulations too both of you, although it has certainly been a challenge it is and will continue to be one I intend to love.

  17. Zoe Says:

Congratulatons! That is wonderful. I had such a severe case of Tourette’s that I chose not to marry. I knew what my husband or child would have to deal with if they had a wife and mother with my case of Tourette’s. But I have all the children in the world! I worked in the school system for 35 years and now work with our AWANA group at church. God gave me a wonderful gift, and that gift is Tourette’s. Now many people I know tell me that, but that’s what I believe.

Don’t take away my Tourette’s Without it, I would not be who I am!

Congratulations again! Let us know if its a boy or a girl–but who cares. It’s a blessing from God and you two will be wonderful parents!
