Ok Jimmy is so cute and I hear from every single girl who goes to the Camp that Brad Cohen and Hailey Sasine started. What you don't know is Jimmy goes to camp. Not as an actor but as a friend and counserlor. He has a cabin of kids just like everyother camper with all camper volenteer duties. He has made such a differnce and helping get the word out about our kids with TS and just how AWESOME they are. How many hollywood actors play to the role and then WALK THE WALK.
The movie , book and camp amount other resources were life changing for my daughter who has TS.

Looking forward to seeing more your your work and you at camp again next year.

Your parents should be VERY proud of you!

This was a truly inspiring story. I applaud Mr. Cohen and his perserverence and showing awareness to TS. I am going to have my 15 year-old son watch the movie again with me. I thought Jimmy Wolk was the perfect actor to play the part. I cried several times during the movie. I look forward to seeing him in more movies!!

Thanks for sharing your inspiring story to us Mr. Cohen, and I salute your bravery and motivation. You are really one of a kind! And to Jimmy Wolk, I think the film director made the right choice of choosing you. Your acting was perfect, I mean making those tics and all weren't as easy as they look. Excellent job and I'm looking forward to see you in other movies. Big fan of yours. Cheers!

I watched this movie because it was featured in an article in Chop Talk, the official magazine of the Atlanta Braves. The article focused primarily on Mr. Cohen's stint as Homer, the Braves' mascot, and I was hooked. Well, there is a whole lot more to the story, as it turns out. Wow! This movie was incredibly uplifting and inspirational. It stays with you long after the credits roll. Mr. Cohen, you are an amazing person. Your positive outlook and determination put me to shame. (And it doesn't hurt that you're a fellow Braves fan!) Also, I agree with everyone who has commented on the amazing actors who brought the story to life. Kudos to all, with an extra-special nod to Jimmy Wolk and Dominic Scott Kay for their heartfelt and stunning portrayals. Just so everyone knows, this movie is now available on DVD. It is definitely one to purchase and share!

Hi I just watched the movie and it was indeed inspirational. Mr. Cohen, I think you are really an example for all of us who are struggling with our own problems; it's amazing how you overcame the obstacles which most couldn't and made your dream come true. Jimmy's acting is splendid; I believe he'll rise up very quickly.

I have seen this movie twice. When it was first shown and the second time last month. The second time was for a reason. My granddaughter has Tourettes. The physical, not verbal. I wanted her to watch this and she wasn't that interested, after all, she has this affliction. But, because I am grandma, she sat with me. I had always told her that no matter what, she can be whatever she wants. She wanted to be a teacher at one point but was talked out of it, not enough money. When she watched this show, she knew for sure I was right and everyone else, except her mother, was wrong. She now has it in her head that, yes, she can be a teacher if SHE wants and no one has a right to say a thing. She has the grades for it right now, a B+ average. There is another show I want her and her brother to watch, "The Miracle Run". I was flipping one night and she likes Zac Ephron. This movie I will have her brother watch as well as it is about Autism. An affliction my grandson has. Both are mainstreamed in normal school with the knowledge that if they need extra help, it's there and they are not sent to another room. There is one thing I'm not sure viewers are aware of and I don't know who will read this, however Mr. Cohn has started a summer camp for kids with this affliction called "Twitches and Shout". A place where they can go and have their tics and vocalizations with no one looking at them as though they were from another planet. And if you are honestly interested, there is the TSA, Tourettes Syndrome Association here in this country. yes you can donate if you choose, however it is education as well. You can learn and not donate is what I am saying. Well worth investigating.
